Die blaue Nalgene-Flaesche | Weihnachten! | Zeichen der Zeit ist so GEIL!!

Hallo ihr alle da draussen...got e first of my prezzies today...a blue nalgene bottle from jiayi...yay so shuang...gave her the Love Actually soundtrack in return...guess wod PAK (sarckx) gave her the EXACT SAME thing >.< wah lanz....ok la quite hengz tt i first ya *hirks* hehe...(cheapskate) ya anyhows. It's Christmas!!! And in Singapore...this sweltering hell of an island...Christmas really is all around (to coin a term from the Billy Mack song) because you're just surrounded by hungry masses searching for their christmas presents and doing their last-minute shopping. Goodness. I have NEVER seen so many people in my 18 years of existence. More prezzies to come! Will update later.

Anyway. It's Christmas!! To those pple having a white Christmas like jie in Dresden, Angie jie, mein Schatz und Suesse, all mein Brothers...aiyoo! i'm so damn jealous!!! it snowed like UNE NUIT for my entire November 2002 Germany Escapade?! Helloooo?! bleargh. So disgusted. But yeah. C'est la vie, that's how it is in Singapore...i'll be lucky if the sky doesn't cry buckets tomorra. At latitude 1 degree North, that's about the best you can get!

Heard this new act lately called Zeichen der Zeit (Signs of time, for the uninitiated), an alliance of 16 german-speaking singers (u.a. Xavier Naidoo, Laith Al-Deen, Patrick Nuo [eme!!!! haha], Yvonne Catterfield, Paddy Kelly, blablabla...) who have banded together to sing for the future of music. It really is amazing how people with such differing styles of music have actually come together to sing and bring across the message of love in a future of uncertainty. Their first single, Du bist nicht allein, is already out and a concept album is gonna follow...i'm gonna get them both...right jie?? -nodnodnod- yaay. Anyway let's not digress. It's a song which shows that hey, music isn't just about the charts! It's about conveying a message. Be it a message of love, an expression of youth, a hand raised in defiance, or whatever it may be, music conveys a message. And this crew of singers have done just that. They want to show that hey, the world isn't just about competition! There's much more to it than that. Always remember that. Especially us poor souls in Singapore. Results aren't everything. You will never be alone.

Komm zur Ruh, ich hoer dir zu
Ich kann hier bei dir sein
Du musst nicht mehr fliehen, nicht weiterziehen
Hier bist du nicht allein...
